Hello Ryerson Community!

Are you looking for an opportunity to work on your networking and team building skills? Do you want to be more involved in the Ryerson community? Well now is your chance because Ryerson Design League is currently recruiting Executives for our 2022-2023 team.

Our mission is to build a community of designers and fuel the passion for the design process by empowering creativity and innovative thinking. From workshops to competitions, we plan to achieve our goal by hosting multiple events, such as our annual Designathon. By applying for our team, you can benefit from networking with local and global industry partners while gaining experience of hosting an event. This is an incredible way to bring a community together and create opportunities for students to apply their knowledge of real-world problems.

We are a multi-disciplinary team, so students from any engineering stream are encouraged to apply.

Hello everyone!

The time has finally come! Today marks the first day of Designathon! The event’s opening ceremony will begin at 6:00 PM EST. It will run for 3 days, from January 21st - January 23rd. Throughout the event there will be prizes, guests speakers such as NDL speaker, Nitesh Mistry, and companies like Stantec who will be joining us. Remember, the winners of this competition will be able to advance to the National Designathon. We wish you all luck and we hope you enjoy competing in our Designathon!

Here is a quick summary of our Designathon schedule. The event will start tomorrow at 6:00 PM EST. Throughout the event there will be guests speakers such as NDL speaker, Nitesh Mistry, and companies like Stantec who will be joining us in our competition. Winners will be given prizes and the opportunity to advance to the National Designathon. You won’t want to miss out on this event. Invite your friends, whether or not they go to Ryerson, and use the link to register. TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO SIGN UP!

Designathon is just around the corner and we are so excited to see you all virtually. Starting tomorrow at 6:00 PM EST, our annual Designathon will officially begin! NDL speaker, Nitesh Mistry, will join us in our competition along with our sponsor company, Stantec. Remember, the winners of this competition will win prizes and have the opportunity to advance to the National Designathon.
