VERITAS | Volume 2, Issue 2
Theme: DISRUPTION
As global power balances shift, climate risks intensify, and economic interdependence becomes politically contested, governance is changing.
This issue invites students to explore how evolving geopolitical conditions shape contemporary policy and decision-making. Rather than looking to historical legacies, we’re focusing on the global forces disrupting politics right now.
We welcome many types of submissions, including analytical essays, policy critiques, case studies, and reflective pieces that examine the following:
- An analysis of how geopolitical competition influences domestic economic or environmental policymaking
- Papers evaluating the broader implications of a newly proposed bill or regulatory reform in a shifting global context
- Papers assessing how governments balance national security, economic strategy, and international cooperation during times of uncertainty in the global order
- A comparative study examining how different states respond to global market pressures or climate risks
- A theoretical or interdisciplinary essay exploring how evolving global power dynamics reshape contemporary governance structures
If you believe your paper fits within the theme but doesn’t align perfectly with the categories above, we still encourage you to submit.
