Thank you to everyone who attended Policython 2026! Our annual flagship event went off without a hitch, and it’s thanks to your support 💜

This year, we welcomed a record-breaking 150 students from across Ontario to draft prompts responding to policy issues across the fields of Economic, Environmental, Foreign, and Human Rights Policy and present their solutions to industry professionals.

Between a networking lunch, insightful guest speaker, and judge QnAs, we hope that all our competitors can use the insights they gained during UTP to further explore their interest in policy— and that we’ll see you competing again next year!

Applications for the UTP PVP Team (President & Vice-Presidents) are now open!

If you’re passionate about Policython and want to lead a 25-person team, we encourage you to apply! Please review the roles and responsibilities before submitting your application.

Eligibility: Applicants must be registered as full-time undergraduate students at the University of Toronto for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Deadline: Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 11:59 PM EST. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply early. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online interview.
