Pharmacy Café Club is excited to present Coffee Chats with Randy Goodman! 💊☕️

Randy Goodman is the CEO, owner and operator of a leading long term care based & retirement home pharmacy service provider known as GeriatRx Pharmacy. This fully digitalized service provides long term care facilities with clinical and client focused services. GeriatRx strives to improve the efficiency and safety of long term care and retirement medications. Randy completed his BScPhm from the University of Toronto, Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. We will be discussing our guest’s career journey, their experience in pharmacy practice and the evolving role of pharmacists in healthcare! Students will have the chance to network with our speaker and ask questions about his experiences.

Pharmacy Café Club is excited to present our first event of this semester, Coffee Chats with Emily Musing & Faizan Baig! 💊☕️

We will be discussing each of our guests' career journeys, their experiences in pharmacy practice and the evolving role of pharmacists in healthcare!

Students will have the chance to network with our speakers and ask questions about their experiences.

About our guests:
Emily Musing is an Associate Professor with the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy and with the Institute of Health Policy Management and Evaluation, and an affiliate member of the Centre for Patient Safety, University of Toronto. She is the Vice President, Quality and Safety and Chief Patient Safety Officer at the University Health Network in Toronto, Canada, leading both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services across UHN’s many sites. She is also responsible for providing leadership related to Infection Prevention and Control, Antimicrobial Stewardship Program and the Patient Safety Team.

Faizan Baig is a 1T9 PharmD graduate from the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. He is currently the Lead Pharmacist in Clinical and Early Intervention Services at Cubic Health Inc., Pharmacist at Center for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), Canadian Addiction Treatment Centres (CATC) & Shoppers Drug Mart, Regional Continuing Education Coordinator at the Ontario Pharmacists Association, Clinical Instructor at LDFP and lastly, Co-Founder and Co-Host of his very own podcast, Off The Script!

CALLING ALL ENTREPRENEURIAL PHARMACY STUDENTS! 💊💊💊

Pharmacy Café has been given an amazing networking opportunity in partnership with Wholehealth Pharmacy.

A complementary pharmacy finance “Pharmopoly” event is being hosted by Wholehealth Pharmacy Partners alongside MNP and CIBC. It’s a full day conference that will take place at Glencairn Golf Club on Sunday, September 11th from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Breakfast and lunch will be complementary!

Wholehealth has reserved a limited number of seats for UofT pharmacy students entering their 3rd year and 4th year. This is an amazing opportunity for pharmacy students interested in learning more about pharmacy finance, networking with pharmacy owners and ultimately, pursuing entrepreneurial endeavours within pharmacy practice.
