Technology & Software Certification Community We will provide students exposure to the world of technology & software certifications by doing 3 things.

1. The Jump Start Program will start in Fall 2022.

Technology & Software Certification Community is a new student group that aims to provide exposure to the world of tech certifications within any business sector. Networking events with tech-certified business professionals & alumni.

2. Free workshops in technology & software certification that are in demand within the business industry.

3. Sponsorship program to allow students a chance to obtai

n the technology & software certifications (relevant to any business industry) for free. Our mission is to make students more competitive and valuable to business industry professionals. Technology & software certifications are one way in which TRSM students can set themselves apart from other students. The technology & software certifications we intend on providing students, are both reputable and recognized by employers and industry professionals. TSCC will be launching our Jump Start Program which will consist of several technical certifications relevant to several majors/programs at TRSM. The program will last from September to April and students can only join 1 program. Signups for the Jump Start Program will end in the middle of September 2022 (a specific date will be provided soon). The technology & software certifications available currently through our Jump Start Program will be in the Cloud and Project Management industry. We hope to add more certifications to our Jump Start Program that includes other facets of the business industry. Certified Industry Roulette will be a roundtable of industry professionals from a minimum of 9 different business industries. Every professional possesses certifications in technology or software.

Learn about the benefits and experiences each professional has to offer!

There will be 5 giveaways available at the end of the event.

Veeral started off as a Bachelor of Commerce graduate and worked in the Accounting/Finance sector for 4 years realizing it was not for him. He upgraded his skills, received some tech certifications and was able to switch over to HR where he recruits for one of the largest Recruitment companies in the world.

Ted Rogers Tech Community (TRTC) is proud to present Shanghavy Karunakaran, an industry professional in Cloud.

Shanghavy is an SAP Consultant at IBM, where she specializes in innovating enterprise application systems and delivering exceptional client experiences. Since 2019, she has been involved with the design and implementation of the billing and revenue processes for one of the largest pillars in the GTA's transportation system. Prior to joining IBM, she graduated from Ryerson University with a Master's of Science in Management, a Bachelor of Commerce, and the Dennis Mock Award - given each year to one graduating student in each program for exemplary contribution to the university community.

George Samaras is a technology leader who has been working in the marketing technology space for over 8 years. George earned his bachelor of science from the University of Toronto in 2012 and completed a certificate in Web Development from George Brown College in 2019. Over the years, George has accumulated several technical certifications and various tools within the marketing technology ecosystem including certifications from Adobe, HubSpot, Oracle, and more. George uses his industry experience and expertise to also operate his own consulting business, Protos Solutions, where he consults with various clients of different business sizes from startups to enterprises on technical implementations of marketing technology tools, integration between different platforms, reporting and attribution, and more.
