The University of Toronto Business Coding Association, co-founded by David Axel Browne, Avani Singh, and Ayushi Patel, is one of a kind hybrid club aiming to bridge the gap between computer science and business. Most of us don’t often hear the words “business” and “computer science” together, but UTBCA is here to break the barrier and show you that these two areas of life actually go hand-in-hand.
We will equip business students with quintessential computer science skills and provide computer science students with an introduction and overview of the business world, while exposing both groups to the fields where these two areas of study intersect. To make this possible, we will hold a number of networking events, case competitions, hackathons, social events, and workshops.
Prepare to get lessons and mentorship from top industry professionals and brilliant UofT professors. We are an ambitious group and our goal is not just to prepare you for the world but also to prepare the world for the new age of increasing digitalization! Keep an eye out for our first event!
