Industry Connect brought 250 Creativetmu and Professional Music students, 60 industry guests, and 25 alumni to network!

This annual event puts students face-to-face with industry pros from PR, film, music, TV, and more. With rotating meetings every 10 minutes, this format is a great way for students to make connections, ask questions, and explore interesting sectors.

Film student Elliott Frith is bringing his stop-motion thesis project, Out of the Toil, to life!🎬

Out of the Toil is a stunning stop-motion film following a teenage mouse fighting back against a tyrannical rule of cats.

For Elliott, this project is a return to his filmmaking roots and combines his childhood love for stop-motion with a deeply collaborative creative process.

With the support of talented peers and IMA faculty, he’s bringing this vision to life. Catch Out of the Toil at this May!

Professor ’s Human Centred Design students collaborated with PhD candidates and postdocs at the KITE Research Institute, exploring wearable technology. Over the semester, students will create prototypes and suggestions for these products, gaining valuable experience in healthcare innovation while expanding their knowledge beyond traditional fashion.

As the recipient of the 2024 InterAccess Media Arts Prize, Angelina blends human instinct with creative coding and tangible electronics to create an amazing immersive experience.

From designing installations to refining exhibition strategies, her time at New Media helped prepare her for this moment.

This marks only the second time a TMU student has received this prestigious award and showcases the incredible impact of our creative community.

In an exciting cross-cultural exchange, welcomed six students from of Applied Sciences in Finland to collaborate with local peers. 

of Applied Sciences students presented Petiossa, a 20-minute adaptation of a Finnish folk tale, blending Nordic traditions with innovative performance. Led by Caroline O’Brien and Michael Bergmann, this collaboration highlights The Creative School’s commitment to global artistic dialogue and immersive learning.

Supported by Erasmus+, this partnership follows a November 2024 trip where eight Performance students travelled to Oulu.

As one of the producers, Brandon Schwartz ( ‘20) is bringing this new musical to life by supporting the artistic and commercial success of the production.

Grace Murrell ( ‘24) works with And That’s Showbiz (.biz) as a Community Manager, helping create social media strategies to engage audiences and grow its fanbase!
