Meet Christiana! One of our volunteers for our Stronger Than Cancer powerlifting event happening this Saturday June 6th. 🙌🏼

Christiana is a breast cancer survivor and didn’t hesitate at the chance to get involved with this event since it hits close to home 🎗️

Christiana underwent treatment at Sunnybrook Hospital, but also had tremendous help from the Safe Haven Cancer Society. Which is an outside support team rooted in Ghanaian culture that aims to provide any assistance to families going through cancer.

Christiana also spoke a lot about her strong faith and how that especially kept her going through the ups and downs of treatment.

We’re so happy to have Christiana join us this Saturday 🤍

Meet Lily, creator of Stronger Than Cancer 🎗️

Lily lost her mom last year to lung cancer, but she continues to have gratitude for the hospital that fought tirelessly for her mom.

Her dream is to help create a world where cancer survival rates are much higher, and this is where Stronger Than Cancer comes in 🎗️
