A new NORRAG blog by Katrin Kohl, Co-Chairholder of the York University - Faculty of Education UNESCO Chair, and Julia Heiss, Chief of UNESCO’s Section for Education for Sustainable Development, explores what ESD should retain, rethink and newly embrace beyond 2030.

Drawing on the recent foresight process and Global Expert Symposium in Munich, the authors reflect on the future direction of ESD, including stronger connections between learning, collective action, institutions and wider systems.

💚 Please join:🌍 On 4 November, UNESCO Chairholders Charles Hopkins and Katrin Kohl will join the International Forum on Global Citizenship Education, Partnership and Peace, hosted by the Ban Ki-moon Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea and Salzburg Global, at Schloss Leopoldskron in Salzburg.

The Forum will explore how Global Citizenship Education and Education for Sustainable Development can strengthen peace, social cohesion and global solidarity, while contributing to discussions on education beyond 2030.
