What happens when students are encouraged to identify opportunities, develop their own ideas, and create something meaningful for others?

This November, EduForum: Advancing Experiential Learning will bring K–12 educators, school and system leaders, and education innovators together to explore how experiential learning and entrepreneurial thinking can strengthen student agency, creativity and problem-solving.

Across three days, participants will learn from educators and practitioners, visit two Toronto schools showcasing distinct approaches to experiential learning, and explore ideas they can adapt to their own educational settings.
The school visits will highlight student-directed learning through portfolios and mentorship, as well as arts and business entrepreneurship connected with community partners.

Through collaborative workshops and practitioner dialogue, participants will also develop an action plan for putting their learning into practice.

What could you move forward in education if you had the right people around the table?

→ Maybe you're building an education-focused venture, product, service or solution and want to better understand the people, organizations and systems you're designing for.

→ Maybe you're leading change within a school, post-secondary institution or organization and looking for new approaches, partners or perspectives.

→ Or maybe your work involves supporting educators, entrepreneurs or innovators to develop their ideas and put them into action.

The 2026–27 InnovED Network of Practice brings together Builders, Changemakers and Catalysts from across education and entrepreneurship to move their work forward, together.

Across the Network year, members follow a guided learning journey designed to help them explore and define what they want to advance, develop their approach and move it toward action.

Along the way, membership includes working sessions, hands-on MicroLabs, networking opportunities and peer exchange, with opportunities to connect into the broader University of Toronto entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem.

Members also receive a $200 CPL Learning Benefit to apply toward an eligible OISE Continuing & Professional Learning course, program or event.
