Our Interior Design and Architectural Technology students are helping restore the historic Crystal Palace model at the CNE putting their skills to work while preserving a piece of Toronto history. ⚠️ Dear George Brown Community,

George Brown teams continue to work closely with electrical contractors to restore power at Casa Loma Campus following the damage caused by yesterday’s extreme weather conditions.

At this time, restoration work remains ongoing and Casa Loma Campus ONLY will remain closed until further notice.

We understand this situation has disrupted plans for students and employees, particularly those who were scheduled to attend Orientation activities. Our teams will continue recovery efforts throughout the coming days, and we will share further updates over the weekend.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as this work continues. The safety of our students, employees and visitors remains our top priority.

Smoking indoors causes a crisis response that disrupts our community and local emergency services. Failure to comply may result in fines.

The burning, exhaling, and inhaling of all to***co and cannabis products is not allowed:
🔹In all George Brown buildings
🔹On owned or leased George Brown property
🔹In a George Brown vehicle, or vehicles parked on school-owned or leased property
🔹Within nine meters of any George Brown entrance, regardless of ownership

Support is available to students and employees who are dealing with addiction.

We had a great time at Summer Sounds this week! 🌞 💙

Over two days at our Waterfront Campus, there was live music from Souls of Steel Orchestra, The Shop, DJ Lee, The Giant Steppas, and Ethan Tilbury Trio 🎶 Fresh eats and shopping from alumni vendors through startGBC 🍔 🛍️ A George Brown Polytechnic Alumni reunion 👋 and so much more.
