Shift at Ryerson Students will focus on 5 modules of study: Know about Yourself, Tools for Success, Academic Strategies, Your Program and You, and Self Advocacy. All for free!

August 8th to 12th

SHIFT Week is a FREE course designed to help students with learning disabilities and/or ADHD with the transition to post-secondary education. Students will stay in residence at Ryerson for the du

ration of the course to experience residence life in a supported setting. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in fun activities such as a trip to the CN Tower, movies at AMC, dinner at the Pickle Barrel, and more. Students who participate will receive a psycho-educational assessment at a discounted rate. Portage in Algonquin Park
August 24th to 26th

Students will venture into the wilderness for a three-day outdoor experience at a beautiful resort on the edge of Algonquin Park. Through outdoor activities and guided reflection, students will prepare for their upcoming transition to post-secondary education. Professional guides will make the experience easy and enjoyable. No previous camping experience required. Your stay at the resort, all meals, and transportation are all absolutely FREE! First priority will be given to SHIFT Week participants.
