UofT Classics field trip to Egypt (take two), under the theme "Orientalism, the Classics, and Egypt" for Prof. Katherine Blouin and graduate students Willem Crispen-Frei, Giulio Leghissa, and Sean Stewart. In addition to visits, the students also attended the workshop organized by Katherine Blouin, Usama Ali Gad, and Rachel Mairs on April 10, 2018 at the Cairo branch of the Egypt Exploration Society.

A one-week field trip to Cairo, the Wadi Natrun and Alexandria, under the theme "Orientalism, the Classics, and Egypt".

In addition to visits, the students also attended the workshop organized by Katherine Blouin, Rachel Mairs, and Usama Ali Gad on April 26, 2017.

Professor Blouin invited her graduate students from her Fall 2016 seminar "Orientalism and the Classics" to participate in this trip. The group includes: Drew Davis, Chiara Graf, Rachel Mazzara, Emily Mohr, Naomi Neufeld, and Shona Scott (from York University).
