The Ryerson Hospitality and Tourism Conference (RHTC), a unique student-organized event, is designed to attract the brightest students in hospitality and tourism disciplines attending colleges and universities across North America along with some of the most distinguished industry leaders to an intensive development forum. Attendees may share ideas and knowledge to accelerate progression in our globally connected, fast-paced and dynamic industry. Our vision is to become a premier, student-organized conference and a cornerstone of North America’s hospitality and tourism landscape by presenting students and the industry with a unique platform upon which to connect and shape the future whilst making a positive impact on society at large.

Exemplifying the mandate of the Ryerson Hospitality and Tourism Students’ Society to promote student engagement and a tripartite focus on a student’s academic, professional, and social experience, the Ryerson Hospitality and Tourism Conference will provide delegates with an opportunity to engage with both industry experts as well as their peers through keynote speaker presentations and interactive workshops. This will enable students to build their skills, enhance their educational experience and develop their professional network which will equip them to launch their careers in today’s globally connected and highly competitive workplace.
