This event is open to everyone, even if you are not from these student unions. Feel free to invite your friends!

This is a 19+ event only as alcohol will be available. Please bring your ID.

Pub Night is a great opportunity to have a fun night out and meet other interesting like-minded students. Best part: it’s free!

The Department of Art History is pleased to welcome you to a lecture from the French visiting scholar Nathan Schlanger!

When: Tuesday, October 6th, 2026
Time: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Where: Paul Cadario Conference Centre, University College, 15 King's College Circle

Dr. Schlanger will discuss the work of the French ethnologist and prehistorian André Leroi-Gourhan (1911-1986), who is known for his remarkably diverse and productive intellectual career. Leroi-Gourhan focused on two domains of research: technology (beginning in the mid-1930s), and art; folkloric, far-eastern and finally connections between Palaeolithic parietal art and the expression of religious sentiments.

This is a casual networking event where students can meet Dr. Schlanger, ask questions, and learn more about the field of archaeology. To close the night, we will have a fun game of archaeology trivia!

Nuit Blanche, Toronto's best public art event, is back on Saturday, October 3rd!! Join HASA for an unforgettable night exploring the contemporary art Nuit Blanche has to offer!

Meet HASA's exec team at 6:30pm outside of the Sidney Smith building (on the St. George Street side). From there, we'll walk to Nathan Phillips Square, where there are over 25 artworks and installations on display!

Nuit Blanche is a great chance to experience artworks that reflect the city’s vibrant culture and people. This event is free and very casual, so we hope many of you join us for this exciting night of art!

Thank you to everyone who came to HASA's Orientation Event! It was a huge success. 🎉🎉

We had a great time meeting both the newcomers and veterans of UofT art history!

During the event, we revealed the theme for our annual symposium, introduced the executive team, and met some of our amazing art history professors! We also raffled a HASA t-shirt and of course: lots of food.

We hope to see you all at many more future events!

Any UofT student enrolled in an Art History Program (Specialist, Major, or Minor) or at least one FAH course can sign up.

Why become a general member?
