✝️ 500 years later, the impact of William Tyndale’s New Testament translation continues to shape lives around the world. 📖
On September 30th, the Tyndale community came together for a special chapel celebrating this remarkable anniversary and reflecting on the enduring influence of making God’s Word accessible to all.
Thank you to Dr. Wesley Hill for sharing his insights, to our Sophia Society panel, and to everyone who participated in our Canadian Bible Society field trip.

📆 Join us on October 30th for the 500th Anniversary of the Tyndale Translation Colloquium.

🎉 Tyndale Seminary Celebrates Its Golden Anniversary!
September marked a significant milestone for Tyndale Seminary as the community came together to celebrate 50 years of equipping ministry leaders to pursue their calling to serve.
Festivities kicked off with a special university night at Rogers Centre on September 14, as the Tyndale community came together to cheer for the Toronto Blue Jays while wearing a special edition collaboration anniversary hat.
On September 22, Tyndale hosted a special Chapel Service to thank God and to celebrate the impact of Seminary alumni. During the service, Dr. Janet Clark, Dean Emerita, was presented with Tyndale University’s Distinguished Service Award.
The celebrations continued on September 25 with a special banquet. Nearly 400 guests gathered to celebrate the milestone, reconnect with classmates and professors, and share memories of their time at Tyndale Seminary. Dr. David Guretzki, President and CEO of the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada, was the keynote speaker.
September’s month-long activities concluded with Homecoming on September 26, an opportunity to honour our 2026 Distinguished Alumni.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
— Philippians 4:6–7 (ESV)
Wishing the Tyndale community a restful and meaningful Thanksgiving! 🍂💜

There are many ways to support Tyndale and make a difference in students’ lives. 💜

📅 Today, Thursday, October 8, 2026 is DAF Day, Canada’s national giving day for donor-advised funds.
More than $17 billion is already committed to charity in Canadian DAFs, ready to be put to work. Gifts from these funds have helped provide much-needed bursaries and grants for Tyndale students.

Have a donor-advised fund? Put your generosity into action by recommending a gift to Tyndale today.

Leadership comes with challenges, but the opportunity to influence and serve others makes it deeply rewarding. At Tyndale, we intentionally cultivate leadership skills in our students, empowering them to lead with character, purpose, and confidence wherever God calls them.
From Undergraduate Student Council to House Leaders and Residence Advisors, Tyndale’s student leaders help build a community where students feel welcomed, supported and known. We are grateful for this year’s undergraduate leadership team. 🙌
