Dr. Wouter Veenendaal is an associate professor of political science at Leiden University, the Netherlands. His research focuses on the effects of population size on politics, as well as on politics and democracy in small states and territories.

We are pleased to announce one of our panelists for the upcoming 25th Annual International Studies Symposium!

Anders Wivel is Professor of International Relations in the Department of Political Science, University of Copenhagen. He has published widely on foreign policy, small states in international relations, and power politics, including articles in e.g., International Affairs, International Studies Review, Ethics and International Affairs, Global Affairs and European Security. His most recent book is Oxford Handbook of Peaceful Change in International Relations (Oxford University Press, 2021, co-edited with T.V. Paul, Deborah W. Larson, Harold Trinkunas and Ralf Emmers).

We are pleased to announce one of our panelists for the upcoming 25th Annual International Studies Symposium!

Professor Nancy E. Wright has designed and taught undergraduate and graduate courses in international relations and comparative politics, public policy, and public administration for more than 20 years, currently at Pace University. Her areas of concentration include small sovereign states in world politics, international relations theory, environmental and human rights governance, and the United Nations system, with a focus on peace operations, humanitarian and development assistance, global sustainability, and the role and office of the Secretary-General. Besides her academic experience, Wright has held management and research positions with the United Nations Departments of Disarmament Affairs and International Economic and Social Affairs, and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), and with the United Nations Association, the International Peace Academy, and the United States Institute of Peace.

We are pleased to announce one of our panelists for the upcoming 25th Annual International Studies Symposium!

Dr. Marcin Łukaszewski was an intern at the Liechtenstein-Institut in Bendern (Liechtenstein). He is an author of scientific articles and books about political systems of democratic and European microstates (Andorra, Liechtenstein, Monaco, San Marino). His scientific interests are: monarchies in the modern world, Polish political system, and political systems of the European microstates.
