Human Biology Students' Union (HBSU)

The Medical Society is hosting a Faculty of Medicine Open House on Sept 15, 2012. Featured guests include Dr Martin Schreiber, a nephrologist from St. Michael's Hospital; Leslie Taylor, a representative from the Office of Admissions; and a panel of medical students eager to answer your questions and share their experiences concerning a career in medicine, the application process, and life in medicine. Admission is free and there will even be a light breakfast served.

The details of the event are as follows:

The U of T Med Open House 2012 is happening on Saturday September 15, 2012 from 9:30am to 12:30pm at the Medical Sciences Building Room 3153 (1 King's College Circle). The schedule of the day is shown below:

9:30am -10:00am
Breakfast and Registration
10:00am- 10:45am
Welcome and Keynote Speaker, Dr. Martin Schreiber, who will speak on a career in medicine.
10:45am – 11:45am
A representative from the Office of Admissions will provide an overview of the admission process for the University of Toronto Medical School
11:45am – 12:30pm
A panel of Medical Students will discuss and answer any questions regarding what lifeis like as a medical student, admissions, career decisions etc.
