We ask that each of you consider rallying your friends and family to make a donation to SickKids Hospital to join us in the fight for better tomorrows. We intend to leave you inspired as colours dance, light swirls, and you shine! This event is so much more than a dance! Complete with silent auctions, raffle items, photo booths, a card making station for the children at SickKids, and inspirational speeches from SickKids Patients Themselves!
The mission behind organizing this fundraiser stems from personal experiences in SickKids Hospital where my brother, Myles Lynch, had his first double lung transplant! I know that many students at York knows someone with a personal connection to SickKids and we hope to have your support!
Looking forward to seeing you there!

to 1914 when SickKids commenced operations of its historic pasteurization laboratory to supply poverty-stricken families and their babies across Toronto with certified bacteria-free milk. The first of its kind in Toronto, the laboratory allowed the Milk Modification Department to successfully pasteurize up to 200 gallons of milk per day. This supply was incorporated into the meals of the hospital’s inpatients and outpatients, becoming an important staple in their daily diets. The plant eventually was responsible for helping the general population of Toronto, acting as a milk delivery service for the various infant and settlement houses throughout the city.
