The Design Students’ Association (DSA) exists to connect Design at York University students.

DSA is looking for a Chief Returning Officer to join the team this year. This position is only open to First, Second and Third Years.

😆 Attention all 3rd and 4th-year students!

DSA’s mentorship program is now looking for mentors for the upcoming school year. Joining the program is one of the best ways to create a lasting impact in your last few years at Design at York.

Improve your communication, leadership, and mentorship skills by supporting junior-year students with their transition into university.

Every year, the DSA matches mentors with mentees, and we’d love for you to be a part of it!

Apply using the link in our bio and become more integrated into the DESN at York Community.

Sign-ups end September 4th, 11:59 P.M.

**Applications for mentees will open in September.

Got your information? Time for the sign-ups for the upcoming Montreal Studio Tour!!

Starting on Monday, July 27th, DESN students will be able to sign up on their respective day.

Sign-up forms will be located in the link in bio at 12pm each day.

ROUND 2 of the 2026-2027 DSA executive elections!

We still have 3 great roles left to fill! Will you be the right fit?

1. Mentorship Coordinator
Help lead the DSA Mentorship Program by pairing mentors with mentees, organizing social events, and hosting workshops.

Eligibility: Open to students in 3rd and 4th year.

2. External Affairs Director
Help connect the DSA with the wider design community by reaching out to studios + industry professionals, organizing studio tours, and supporting sponsorship initiatives.

Eligibility: Open to students in 3rd and 4th year.

3. Department & CASA Representative
Serve as the connection between the Design Department, CASA, and the DSA by advocating for student initiatives and representing the DSA at faculty meetings.

Eligibility: Open to students in 1st and 2nd year.

Important: All candidates must complete a 10-minute screening interview before Election Night to participate in the DSA Elections.

Election Night
Whether you’re applying or just want to learn more about the candidates, don’t miss Election Night! The Zoom link will be shared on Discord.
