🌟 Graduate Spotlight: Neil’s PSW Journey 🌟

When Neil Gian Villafuerte first joined Hanson College’s PSW program, he only wanted a foundation in nursing. But as he trained, his purpose became clear:

“At first it was just nursing basics. But over time, it felt like a calling — helping older adults and giving better care.”

Seeing residents happy motivated him every day.

“It feels like such an achievement when you get to help people… that appreciation makes me love the job even more.”

Graduate Spotlight: From Training to Career Success 💙

When Clement first stepped into Hanson College’s simulation lab, he was amazed by how real it felt.

“When I walked into the simulation room, I saw all the equipment used in real healthcare facilities… we learned how to use every one of them.”

From bed baths to mobility support, the hands-on training gave him the confidence he needed.

“When I started my placement, I already knew how to use everything. I felt ready and confident.”

“A resident I was taking care of passed away. It was emotional, but I stayed professional and continued caring for others.”
