Muslims in India and the students of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) have a genuine grievances against Jinnah, and may want to discuss whether to withdraw the lifetime membership of the AMU students’ union he was granted. But no outsider has the right to dictate what they should do or threaten us on this account. Resistance by students to the removal of his portrait should not be taken as an endorsement of Jinnah’s ideology. It is merely an assertion of the democratic right to take their own decisions. AMU does not subscribe to the regressive ideology of nations being formed on the basis of religion.
Controversy over a portrait of Muhammad Ali Jinnah at the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) was part of a conspiracy, which should be investigated.The ruling parties with its allies are targeting minority institutions on a fasle and baseless pretext... that we all as Canadian Aligs strongly condemn!

Enough is enough, Students of AMU and the Muslims of India will not react to these baseless and distorted facts, however silence is not an option and we unitedly would respond to something that is not accepted...
AMU students and Muslims are peaceful and dedicated Indians and not anti-nationals or terrorists that media or political parties are portraying to serve their ends of winning the election and distracting the Indians from the agenda of development.
