Circle K International (CKI) is the world's largest collegiate community service, leadership development, and fellowship organization in the world.

CKI is a sponsored organization of Kiwanis International. CKI's mission is to develop college and university students into a global network of responsible citizens and leaders with a lifelong commitment to service. As one of the three tenets, service is a fundamental element of CKI. Collectively, CKI members perform more than 1 million hours of service on their campuses and in their communities an

nually. Without service, CKI would be just another campus activity. Through service, college students are making the world a better place. Through the mission and vision of the organization, CKI is dedicated to the realization of mankind’s potential. The potential of CKI lies in its ability to positively influence members of society who are facing ultimate personal decisions and those who will one day create the vision of mankind for generations to come. Leadership opportunities afford CKI members the resources and tools needed to become active citizens. CKI member can assume leadership responsibilities at all levels of the organization and through various experiential training conferences.If there is one thing that CKI members know best, it is fellowship. Whether they are planning a car wash, visiting shut-ins, reading to three-year-olds or conducting business, CKI members across the globe take time to meet and welcome new people. With each element and aspect of CKI, members experience fellowship and develop life-long relationships with fellow collegians, advisors, Kiwanians and citizens in their communities. Whether a CKI member is mentoring a child, networking with a businessman, or bowling with members, that CKI member is developing social skills, meeting new people and strengthening relationships.

Do you have any unwanted clothes that could use a new home? Circle K at UofT are having a CLOTHING SWAP with board games on March 17, 2023 at 2-3 PM in room MP118. Bring your clothes to swap with someone else’s! Any clothes not swapped will be donated and food will be provided. Please bring clean clothes in good condition.

Circle K at UofT are having a TRIVIA NIGHT on January 20, 2023 at 6-7 PM in room BA1190. Admission fee is $3 OR a non-perishable food item! Food will be provided. Come out for a chance to WIN prizes worth up to $85 dollars in value!

The exam season is just around the corner, so Circle K is teaming up with VOICES to distribute care packages! Each will consist of snacks, personal care items, and more things to help you get through the end of the year. Come by the Wendy Cecil Atrium at the Goldring Student Centre on December 8 to get your own while supplies last!

WE'RE HIRING!
We're looking to recruit the following positions to our team:
Treasurer
Director of External Affairs
Fundraising Coordinator

Their responsibilities are:

Treasurer
- Record all financial transactions of the group
- Hold signing officer authority along with the President for financial purposes
- Maintain a budget of income and expenses along with receipts
- Advise members on financial position of the group
- Prepare an annual budget for the group as well as budgets for specific events
- Attend board and general meetings
- Inform the sponsoring Kiwanis club of the financial status

Director of External Affairs
- Manage the group’s external relations (e.g. searching for collaborative opportunities with other campus clubs)
- Manage external communication using the group’s email and social media accounts
- Connect club to local businesses and communities
- Connect club to campus events
- Attend board and general meetings

Fundraising Coordinator
- Act as a liaison for members regarding fundraising projects
- Plan, research and organize fundraising activities
- Attend board and general meetings
- Coordinate with the Webmaster and Social Media and Marketing Director(s) to promote fundraising events and initiatives
