✨2026 Sankofa Square Animation Take-over!

📣The RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers and Sankofa Square are excited to announce the 2026 OCAD U Experiential Learning Animation take-over!

ℹ️The Sankofa Square placement provides OCADU Experimental Animation placement students with the opportunity to showcase their work on the digital screens of Sankofa Square (formerly Yonge and Dundas). Our students were asked to respond to the theme of
Worldbuilding.

🗓️The OCAD U Experiential Learning animation take-over will be shown across five (5) digital screens throughout the month of September 2026.

📣DesignTO, Stantec Window Gallery and the RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers are excited to announce a public window gallery exhibition Career Launcher, providing an exhibition opportunity for one (1) exhibition proposal from current OCAD U students and recent grads to show their work as part of the 2027 DesignTO Festival.

✨Artists and designers are invited to submit proposals for existing work to be shown from December 19, 2026 to March 17, 2027. The selected artist(s) and/or designer(s) will receive a $500 fee from Stantec, plus a $530 fee and $200 production support from the CEAD.

📩Eligibility: Current OCAD U undergraduate students in any discipline who have completed a minimum of 15+ credits who are graduating in 2027
or current OCAD U Master's students
or recent OCAD U Alumni who graduated in 2026 or 2025
