ℹ️Beyond the Gallery is a unique opportunity provided to students by OCAD U's RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers. Through a guest panel discussion and public art site visit, this event will highlight and demystify potential future career paths for Fine Art students. In 2025, a focus will be placed on paths that harness the power of community engagement through public art and beyond. Exemplary guests who have made public art part of their careers will share with participants an understanding of how to involve themselves in this aspect of professional practice. This event is part of the Cultural Community Expo series.

📣 Sankofa Square (formerly Yonge-Dundas Square ) and the RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers are excited to announce the return of the annual Black History Month Digital Exhibition Career Launcher providing an exhibition opportunity for artists from the OCAD U community to exhibit their work on the square’s digital screens. Artists are invited to submit artworks to be displayed across five (5) digital screens for the duration of Black History Month in February 2025.

✨This opportunity is for artists who identify as Black. The successful applicants will each receive an exhibition fee ($500) provided by the CEAD.

ℹ️The OCAD U Creative Professionals-In-Residence program is a mentorship initiative created to support the career success of current OCAD U students and recent alumni. With degrees from OCAD University in Toronto and the Basel School of Design in Switzerland, Tiah has cultivated a strong expertise in branding, finance, and business development.
