📣 Call for Unity and Vision: Sarbat Khalsa 2026 📣
Join the University of Toronto Sikh Students’ Association (SSA) as we convene for a significant Sarbat Khalsa. This is not just a meeting, but a traditional ceremonial assembly patterned after the historic and sacred Sarbat Khalsa held at the Akal Takht in Amritsar. In this spirit, all major decisions regarding the collective future are made through Gurmatta, adhering to the principles of panthic unity and consensus.
Together with the Sangat (the community), we will deliberatively decide the Future Direction of the SSA. Your voice, input, and vision are vital to ensure our path forward is guided by shared values and collective wisdom.
Everyone is welcome to participate in this crucial dialogue.
🗓 Date: September 18, 2026
⏰ Time: 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
📍 Location: Room KP-207 Koffler House - Multi Faith Centre
We look forward to planning the future with the collective power of the Sangat. See you there!
🙏 Please bring a head covering as a mark of respect for the assembly.
