Join us August 31 – September 3 for four days of connection, community and new experiences for incoming first-year Indigenous students at Humber Polytechnic and the University of Guelph-Humber!

📍 Monday, August 31: Welcome to Campus
North Campus: 11 a.m.
Lakeshore Campus: 11 a.m.
Meet the IE&E team, explore your campus, enjoy lunch and take part in team-building activities!

🎡 Tuesday, September 1: Connecting with Community
Visit Indigenous community resources and organizations, explore Kensington Market and end the day at the CNE!

🏙️ Wednesday, September 2: Finding Your Supports
Visit Miziwe Biik for a registration and information session, followed by lunch in the Distillery District!

🌊 Thursday, September 3: Land, Water & Wellness
Beach day, kayaking and paddleboarding! *weather permitting*

Lunch and PRESTO/TTC fare will be provided throughout the week.

🥞 Aug. 31: Welcome to Campus
Meet the IE&E team, explore your home campus, enjoy breakfast or lunch, join team-building activities and receive a First-Year Survival Package.

🎡 Sept. 1: Connecting with Community
Visit Indigenous community resources and organizations, explore Kensington Market and finish the day at the CNE!

🏙️ Sept. 2: Finding Your Supports: Toronto Edition
Attend a Miziwe Biik registration and information session before heading to the Distillery District for lunch.

🛶 Sept. 3: Land, Water & Wellness
Spend the day kayaking, paddleboarding and connecting by the water.*

Lunch and PRESTO/TTC fare will be provided throughout the week.

Day 2 of the imagine NATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival was an inspiring experience for IE&E staff, students, and alumni! 🎬✨

Together, we attended the Short Film Program: What’s to Come and River of Spirits, celebrating Indigenous storytelling, creativity, and perspectives on screen.

Thank you to everyone who joined us as we connected through film, community, and culture. We’re looking forward to more festival screenings and conversations ahead!
