The OCAD U Etsy Team is a group which provides support and encouragement to students, alumni, faculty and staff who sell, or want to start selling their art or other creations in their own Etsy shops. The team runs workshops, meetups and in person craft markets. Although some events relate specifically to Etsy, others may be helpful or enjoyable to anyone selling their work online or in craft mark
ets. Knowledge sharing is heavily encouraged! GUIDING PRINCIPALS

OBJECTIVES
• Provide resources and support to those who are just thinking about or starting to open shops
• Provide low barrier opportunities to sell at in person markets
• Provide workshops on relevant topics such as business, marketing and product development
• Encourage the sharing of skills and knowledge relating to craft, design and business between members
• Encourage critique, collaboration and support between members
• Encourage ongoing improvements and development to existing shops
