Now that UofT has committed to fossil fuel divestment, there's no reasonable excuse for Vic not to follow suit. A refusal to divest means a refusal to acknowledge the realities of the environmental, social, and bodily harms that fossil fuels corporations continue to commit, and a refusal to acknowledge the harsh realities of the climate crisis more generally. The fossil fuel industry has no place in our society and it's the responsibility of powerful institutions, like universities, to take part in the removal of their social license to operate.

Hello Vic College at UofT students! We are your student representatives on the Board of Regents at Victoria University at the University of Toronto. We will be introducing ourselves over the next few days. Feel free to message us if you have any questions!

Vibhuti Kacholia and Ally Johnston sit on the Finance and Pension Affairs Committee
Aminah Attar sits on the Governance and University Affairs Committee
Aloysius Wong sits on the Property Committee

All BoR Student Reps above are independent representatives elected by the Victoria College student body.

Michelle Zhao, as VUSAC president, sits on all the above committees as well as the Executive Committee.

Students currently do not have a seat on the Investment Committee
