For over forty years, the ARTM Program has evolved to meet the critical need for qualified managers across the entire spectrum of the arts and cultural industries from the not-for profit arts and social enterprise organizations to broadcasting and digital media. Its alumni hold senior managem

ent positions in all areas of the arts and cultural industries, as well as senior government policy positions. The specialization is designed to provide students with experience in the arts and cultural industries sector (including publishing, film, television, music, and digital media), with the knowledge and skills required to support and to advance their careers. While the Program focuses on the Canadian experience in the globalized environment, it is also designed to support the educational objectives of exchange and foreign students.

Schulich Arts, Media & Entertainment Faculty members Lisa de Wilde and Trina McQueen have partnered with Women in Film and Television to empower women in the film and television industry through a revamp of the Media Leadership Certificate Program.

The program has a 20-year history of success and provides professional development and mentorship, with a recent bespoke curriculum developed by industry experts. The program's newest entrants began in March, representing a range of industry backgrounds.
