MicroVision is a peer-reviewed journal for undergraduate life sciences, associated with the University of Toronto’s Molecular Genetics and Microbiology Student Union (MGYSU). We publish original student research and scientific writing in molecular biology and life sciences at large.

Hello!!!

We would like to welcome you back from a long-deserved break. The MGYSU will be returning this year with a workshop about writing cover letters.

This workshop seeks to help those who are interested in joining labs or volunteer positions early on in their undergraduate degree. It includes a series of presentations on how to structure your cover letter with the inclusion of breakout rooms for direct feedback. Come join us virtually for an informative session on Friday, January 21, from 2-4pm!

Mentors can gain CCR and learn valuable leadership and mentoring skills, while mentees get insider information on courses and departments, and both gain a valuable connection within the MGY community!!! Hello! Please fill out this form if you would like to be apart of the MGYSU 2021-2022 executive team! You are eligible to run for any position if you are a full-time, undergraduate A&S student enrolled in the Molecular Genetics and Microbiology major or specialist or have taken any MGY course that is part of the aforementioned programs over the past academic year. Additionally, if you are running for any of the year-rep positions, make sure you are in that year during the 2021-2022 academic year, with the exception of future 5th-year students who may still run for the 4th-year rep position.
