As Mechanical Engineering students, we are all taught to examine limits. What we are not taught is that there are two types of limits; the physical and the fictional. The physical limits are things usually taught in physics class, ex. Speed of Light, time, etc. But you already know that. See, it’s the fictional limits that hold us back. The things you think hold you back, like a poor lab mark, bad
professor, and bunch of other BS we all tell ourselves. But you need not worry, that’s where we come in. The Mechanical Engineering Course Union (MECU for short) is here for you. The sole purpose of MECU is to make sure that our student group succeeds and that you all have a great time during the school year. MECU is the course union for the biggest engineering field at Ryerson, so it only seems fair to have great things in store. We have many events planned, backed by a great team of people looking to get you the resources needed to help you. This academic year will be one to remember. This is YOUR team, YOUR school, and YOUR education. Why settle on anything less than amazing? We look forward to making your school year enjoyable! Much love,
- MECU
