Big changes are coming to Ontario healthcare and they’re creating exciting new opportunities for future healthcare workers and CCHAP grads!

Starting in July 2026, pharmacists across Ontario will be able to administer more publicly funded vaccines and treat even more common ailments, helping patients access care faster and more conveniently. It’s all part of a larger shift toward team-based healthcare, where professionals are empowered to work to the full extent of their education and training.

For CCHAP students and alumni, this means more hands-on responsibilities, expanded career pathways, and growing opportunities across pharmacy, nursing, allied health, community care, and healthcare administration. It also highlights how important lifelong learning and continuing education will be in the future of healthcare.

You can read more about these changes on our latest blog at CCHAP.ca🚑💙

At the Canadian College of Healthcare and Pharmaceutics, we know that strong healthcare education doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It takes incredible community partners who believe in supporting and investing in the next generation of healthcare professionals

We’re proud to work alongside organizations like Intrepid Health Group, who provide valuable clinical placement opportunities for our Healthcare Management and Phlebotomy students across Ontario. Through their broad network of healthcare facilities, students gain real-world experience that helps bridge the gap between classroom learning and patient care.

A huge thank you as well to Levi Walk-In Clinic for supporting our Healthcare Management and Phlebotomy students with hands-on placement opportunities in a busy outpatient clinic environment.

We’re also grateful for our growing partnership with MedEx Health Services, who continue to support our Healthcare Management students and are now expanding placements for our PSW students as well.

To all of our placement partners: thank you for helping shape the future of healthcare, one student at a time 👏
