Big changes are coming to Ontario healthcare and they’re creating exciting new opportunities for future healthcare workers and CCHAP grads!

Starting in July 2026, pharmacists across Ontario will be able to administer more publicly funded vaccines and treat even more common ailments, helping patients access care faster and more conveniently. It’s all part of a larger shift toward team-based healthcare, where professionals are empowered to work to the full extent of their education and training.

For CCHAP students and alumni, this means more hands-on responsibilities, expanded career pathways, and growing opportunities across pharmacy, nursing, allied health, community care, and healthcare administration. It also highlights how important lifelong learning and continuing education will be in the future of healthcare.

We have spots open in our upcoming five-hour electrocardiogram (ECG) workshop happening on May 23rd. An ECG is a commonly performed medical diagnostic in medical offices, hospitals, ambulatory care, and homes.

We’ve designed the curriculum of this program program to be relevant for all health professionals involved in any capacity in patient healthcare or care of seniors. The program is delivered in a customized, simple way to introduce students to ECG theory and exam.

After completion you’ll be able to:
✅Understand the concept of ECG
✅Able to understand the ECG equipment
✅Able to approach patients as per the care standards
✅Able to perform 12 lead ECG
✅Understand basic rhythm abnormalities

Wound care can be one of the most important skills for healthcare workers in Canada. That's why our team at CCHAP designed the Introduction to Wound Care Program for Healthcare Professionals.

The curriculum was built specifically for:

Phlebotomy Certificate: New Intake Added Beginning April 28th

We’ve had an overwhelming amount of interest in our Phlebotomy Micro-Credential program. So much so that we are adding ANOTHER intake beginning on April 28th.

The Phlebotomy program is a stand-alone program to help you prepare for the CPT credential offered by the Canadian Phlebotomy Technician Group Inc. Our team has worked hard to ensure this program is designed to provide a comprehensive knowledge of Phlebotomy and prepare you to sit for the CPT exam. You’ll learn things like:
