Competitors are given a real-world problem and must work within limited time and budget constraints to design, create, and test a physical prototype of their proposed solution.

Congratulations to our Atlantic Engineering Junior Design champions pictured in blue scarves (L to R) Ian Redden, Robert Holmes, Jami McDowell and Caleb Hominick. Competitors are presented with a real-world industry problem and must generate a practical, creative and feasible solution. The team will head to Halifax later this month for the National competition.

Engineering students recently faced off in a high-stakes design competition called The Gauntlet. They were presented with a problem and given eight hours to prepare a SolidWorks drawing of their solution. Solutions were 3D printed culminating in a build and test day for the final round. https://bit.ly/4fKYoEc
