Friendly Reminder! Tomorrow is our ASQ (Ages & Stages Questionnaires) Screening Blitz!

Come anytime between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM to have your child screened!

ASQ screenings help us celebrate your child’s growth and check in on important developmental milestones. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about your child’s development and connect with resources and support if needed.

We look forward to seeing you and your little ones! 😊

Little determination goes a long way!

At just 7 months old, she showed persistence as she worked hard to crawl toward the items she wanted to reach. With patience and determination, she kept trying until she was able to grab one! Every little effort is a big step in her learning and development.
Way to go!!!!!

Today was just an Ellie day.

Ellie loved the sound of my nails tapping on the sensory stepping stones. Every time I tapped one, she would instantly look over!

Later on, she sat up and started hitting the stepping stones herself to make the noises!

This was such a neat little moment of sensory processing. Ellie was taking in information from her surroundings through her senses and responding to it. She was exploring her auditory (sound) sense by listening to the tapping and turning to look each time she heard it.

Then, when she started hitting the stepping stones herself, she was exploring cause and effect where she discovered that when she hit them, they made a sound!

This is a great example of sensory exploration. She was listening, noticing, responding, and then experimenting for herself.

Slow Down and Connect.

Babies grow quickly! Completing an ASQ is a built-in pause to pay close attention to what is happening. Take a moment to notice details you might miss in the busyness of the day. It’s an opportunity to appreciate how much your child is learning in real time.
