Hello, ECUAD Animation Club!

After some discussion, we've decided to focus our club's social presence to two places: Discord and our club emails.
For the time being, we have insufficient manpower to run Facebook and Instagram alongside our usual club activities (which is our 2021 Fall Anijam at the moment!), but we'll keep them up with this message so you know where to find us!

Heya everyone! Exciting news - REGISTRATION FOR FALL ANIJAM 2021 IS NOW OPEN!!

The theme this year will be video games! Be sure to ready your consoles and controllers because this year will be a score smashing blast!!

For an anijam, you will get a piece of the music and animate to it. The song has been split up into 7-10 second clips for each person so be sure to listen and sign up for your favorite part.

Interpret the theme in any way, so long as you animate something that goes with your song and you feel represents video games. If that means basing your animation off of a pre-existing game, you can absolutely go for it!

It was a wonderful time to see our members and to catch a movie together, along with premiering the work of our skilled members.

From Winter, to Spring, then to Summer, we're finally free of ECUAD! But not free of ECU Animation Club, no, never... Our long-awaited release of our Winter ...

Hello, everybody! Did you know that we, the ECUAD Animation Club, have ANOTHER event lined up for the New Year?! Introducing Discord Pitch Night, a low-stress online pitch event for our fourth years and for YOU!

Time and Date: Jan 15th, 2021, at Friday at 12pm right in our Discord server!

FOR FOURTH YEAR GRAD FILM PRODUCERS: Firstly, check out our sign up form for more details! You may pitch with any form of media - just give us links to trailers, animatic, prerecorded presentations.. Anything is welcomed! Optionally, you may choose to present at Pitch Night, and we’d love for you to attend Pitch Night to answer questions or explain details if you can.

Hello everyone! Our new theme has been decided, and thus we are happy to announce our 48 hour challenge for Winter - Monochrome!

You will end up with an assigned color (you get to pick preferences when you sign up, though!), and along with black and white, that will be your palette. You don't need to stick with a specific shade, though, there are many shades of red, green, blue etc. -- and the short film itself doesn't have to be about colors... but if that tickles your fancy, go bananas!
