LFS|US CASE COMP #2: 🥣Soul to Bowl🍲

📣Calling all UBC Undergrads to come participate in our second Case Competition and get a chance to win cash prizes 💸 as well as raffle prizes🎁!

Curious as to how much you can win?? 😏... We are giving up to $1650 of Cash prize! With 1st place winning $800, 2nd place $500 and 3rd place $350!

This year’s case competition is in collaboration with 🪴 Soul Bite 🪴~ a local business specializing in ready to eat plant-based foods that donates half of their proceeds towards a charity aimed at improving food security for all people 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦.

📍Location: MCML building (room TBD)
💵Price: $5.89/person

⭐️The event is open to undergraduate students at UBC from any faculty. You can register individually or as part of a team. Teams must be 3-5 people, and at least two faculties must be represented. If signing up individually, you will be placed into a team before the event.

⚠️Note: you can get reimbursed for the competition fee through the LFS Professional and Academic Development Subsidies (see link in bio).

This Wednesday Night Dinner will be mainly for first-year LFS students to come together and share a meal. However, it is still open to anyone who would like to come and enjoy a meal at Agora Space in Macmillan Basement from 5:30-7PM. 🤗

Join the LFSlUS Crewneck Design Competition! 🎨

LFSlUS is hosting a crewneck design contest that is open to all LFS students! The winning crewneck design will be added to our merch inventory! 👀

📌Contest Timeline:
📩1. Participants interested in joining can submit a template to a Qualtrics form released on October 31st. They must submit the design by November 9th at 12:00PM Link: https://ubc.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cvYhdC58xfXzxUG

📥2. The voting period will start on November 9th at 8:00PM and close on November 16th at 12:00PM. LFS students can vote for their favourite designs via Qualtrics (look out for the link soon)

📣3. Winners will be announced via an Instagram post on November 20th!

🛍4. Pre-orders will be available from Nov 20th-24th. We will be releasing an announcement via Instagram on December 8 when the new merch is available.
