🌱Interested in how climate justice is studied and practiced in both academic and policy spaces? Curious about the interconnected nature of climate change, inequality (and injustice), and governance?

👉 In this interview series created by the Human Rights Collective (HRC) Campus Engagement Team, learn from three Masters candidates at UBC about climate justice and equitable futures, from theory and beyond!

AT A GLANCE:
🌾 Hayley Simpson, a Masters candidate at UBC's Institute for Resources Environment And Sustainability (IRES), shares her perspective on how cognitive psychology must integrate equity and justice principles to drive a more equitable climate future.
🛣Leandro Salud, a Master of Public Policy and Global Affairs (MPPGA) student, highlights that climate change is more than an environmental issue, but also an issue of governance and inequality.
🕊Rosetta Paik, a second-year Master’s student in Political Science, demonstrates that climate is not just about emissions or science, but also about power, structural inequality, and whose voices are included in global conversations.
