Join us for a review of the E2P PharmD program’s inpatient and health-authority based practicums and discussion on strategies forintegrating learners into the day-to-day work that you do as practice educators and experiential partners. We have invited threeexperienced practice educator panelists to share their strategies to balance student learning with meaningful contributions to patientcare while on practicum. We will also invite your active participation during discussion opportunities.

We are excited to announce that the OEE will be visiting Vernon, Kelowna, and Penticton in April. Registration is now open for the evening practice educator workshop on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024. This workshop will be presented by Dr. Sandra Jarvis-Selinger, Associate Dean, Academic and the OEE.

*OEE Practice Educator Development Workshop: Generational Issues and Professional Identity Formation in the Pharmacy Practicum Context*

Generational differences are often thought to be contribute to professionalism and work ethic challenges in experiential education. In this practice educator development workshop, we will unpack our respective generational values, the research behind generational issues, and its relation to supporting students’ developing sense of professional identity. Participants will gain strategies to inform their precepting practices in the pharmacy practicum context.
