Are you applying for UBC’s Master of Engineering Leadership? Get helpful tips on how to choose your references!

We recommend that you provide one professional and one academic reference. Your third referee can be an additional professional or academic reference or someone from another professional setting you engaged such as in a volunteer capacity.

Since MEL is a leadership program, it’s valuable to secure a reference from someone who can speak about your professional contributions, your work ethic or provide examples of where you went above and beyond what was required.
