UBC Alpha Gamma Delta Founded in 1904. Living with Purpose at UBC since 1930. Together, we continually work to inspire the woman and impact the world.

Alpha Gamma Delta is an international women’s fraternity, founded in 1904, that promotes academic excellence, philanthropic giving, ongoing leadership and personal development and above all, a spirit of loving sisterhood. Guided by our Purpose, Alpha Gams strive to attain a higher standard, thereby improving their lives, the lives of those around them and the communities in which they live.

Meet our Vice President Administration 𝑩𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒚 ₊˚⊹♡

“Joining a sorority in my third year and running for executive council was never on my bucket list. But the women in this chapter inspired me in ways I didn’t expect. Their passion and support pushed me to step outside my comfort zone and take on a role I hadn’t even considered.
I was drawn to VP Admin because I genuinely enjoy staying organized and learning the history of our chapter. It felt like a role where I could contribute meaningfully while continuing to grow.
Since stepping into this position, I’ve developed leadership skills that go beyond AGD and into other areas of my life. As I plan to pursue law, these skills, especially organization and collaboration, are incredibly important. More than anything, the girls I lead alongside continue to motivate and challenge me every day, and I’m so grateful for how this experience has shaped me. 💛”

Meet our Vice President Finance

“When I first became VP Finance, the complexity and responsibility of managing chapter finances honestly felt overwhelming. But after the storm came the sunshine ☀️, and along the way I gained so many skills and a sense of accomplishment.
I learned how much work happens behind the scenes to keep a chapter running smoothly. From balancing budgets and decoding BillHighway mysteries, to late night emails with Wendy about processing fees, exchange rates, and “wait… why does this account not balance,” I gradually became the person who actually understands where the money is going.
Also, VP finance is really about supporting people. Whether it was helping officers with budgets, fixing billing issues, or making processes more transparent, I loved being someone the chapter could rely on.”
