I’ve met some of my best friends in this chapter, all of whom have provided me endless love and support. Being in AGD has taught me so much about myself and given me invaluable opportunities and life skills, which I’m eternally grateful for. Madi “The universe seemed to demand for me to meet Scarlett last year when she joined two of the same clubs as me at the same time (copycat ;P). I somehow knew deep down she would be my little the second I met her, and we have been inseparable ever since. My love for this girl is hard to put into words. She goes through this world with an optimism you can’t teach, a way of always making you laugh, and a kindness to all. Looking back at my favorite memories of this year, she’s in almost all of them. From late-night talks on my patio, to our roadtrips, and everything in between, getting to watch you grow and having a front-row seat to all the amazing things you do has been one of the sweetest parts of my sorority experience. Scarlett, you’re such a special friend and i’m so grateful to be going through this life with you. I love you so much!!❣️💞🫶”

Scarlett “ A year ago today, I didn’t know anything about Greek Life, and was a little nervous about the idea of joining until I met Madi. Being both my big in AGD and in The Calendar (by default), she has gone above and beyond as a friend and someone I know I can always rely on. It felt like just yesterday we were at the Calendar hiring mixer, talking for what felt like hours because we had clicked instantly. I didn’t realize rush crushes were a thing, until I met her. Madi has been an integral part of my past year at UBC and Greek life in ways she probably doesn’t even realize. She has a way of brightening up any room she walks in, with her constant positivity and love for everyone that has the privilege of knowing her. The memories we have made from roadtrips, hangouts at her place, and fun nights out are something I’ll cherish well after my time as an undergrad. She has always made me and everyone around her feel so incredibly welcome and safe, no matter what. She is the most beautiful girl inside and out, one of my biggest inspirations, and I am eternally grateful to get to call her my big 💗 “
