September 30th is recognized as Orange Shirt Day and the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation to honour survivors of residential schools and remember the children who never returned home.

Today we pause to acknowledge the lasting impacts and injustices of the residential school system while reaffirming the importance of truth, reflection, meaningful dialogue, and collective healing.

Today, our college family bids a fond farewell to our dear Mehak, who is embarking on an exciting new chapter as she moves to Ontario to marry the man of her dreams. 👰💍

More than anything, we will miss the positive and calming presence she brought to our team, along with her warm smile and kind heart.

Mehak, thank you for all that you have done to support our college, our students, and your colleagues. We are truly grateful for your contributions and wish you every happiness and success in this next stage of your journey.
