Join us to share in our upcoming Fine Arts Graduation Exhibition Opening Night celebration on Thursday, April 30 (6-9pm)!

The artworks featured in this exhibition show a wide range of artistic approaches that graduating students have experimented with during their time in the Fine Arts Program (ex: Ceramics, Drawing, Design, Indigenous Carving & Tool making, Painting, Performance, Printmaking, Public Art, Media, Textiles and Sculpture). We are extremely proud of the dedication, curiosity and experimentation of these emerging artists!

We invite those grieving over the April 26 Lapu-Lapu Day Festival tragedy to gather collectively with the Langara community - Filipino and non-Filipino students, staff, workers, faculty, residents, and friends are welcome. This event aims to provide a space to begin processing the immense pain that we are holding in the community at this time. Join us in prayer, remembrance, love, and mourning.

This gathering will include:
• A small altar space which we will initiate, and we invite you to bring offerings such as flowers, traditional medicines, and candles
• Short statements, poems, and other forms of expression by Filipinx organizers
• There will be art making, traditional medicines, and snacks and refreshments
• A facilitated grief circle will be held for impacted community members with at least one registered clinical counsellor facilitating
