Today, we had the pleasure of hosting a free introductory talk on campus with David Hartmann, who brings over 25 years of experience in acupuncture and tuning forks!

Our students had the opportunity to explore this fascinating topic, connect with David’s knowledge, and experience using tuning forks on themselves.

Ready to take your Asian Manual Therapy skills to the next level? 🌿

Join Alexandre Rouhani at Pacific Rim College for Asian Manual Therapy – Level 2, a highly practical weekend workshop designed to build on the foundations learned in OM/PD156 Asian Manual Therapy.

Throughout the weekend, participants will:

🌿 Review prone, sitting, and supine treatment sequences
🌿 Explore additional techniques for the shoulders and arms
🌿 Learn techniques for treating patients in side lying positions
🌿 Work with the viscera and inner channels of the lower limbs
🌿 Expand techniques for the GB and UB channels
🌿 Develop new approaches for treating patients while standing, sitting, lying down, and on their side

With 25 years of manual therapy experience and more than 18 years of teaching, Alexandre focuses on practical techniques he uses in his own clinical practice.

Join Kim Juneja, DTCM at Pacific Rim College for Affirming the Whole Person: A TCM Approach to Gender Diverse Care, a two day workshop for TCM practitioners, acupuncturists, DTCMs, and students.

Through a practical, trauma informed approach, participants will explore how TCM can support transgender, nonbinary, and gender diverse patients throughout different stages of their healthcare journey.

What’s the difference between learning about holistic health and actually learning how to practise it? 🌿

Real people. Real conversations. Real clinical experience.

At Pacific Rim College, we believe clinical training shouldn’t be something students wait years to experience. Students in our Holistic Nutrition and Phytotherapy diploma programs begin direct clinical training from their very first week of studies, building practical skills alongside their academic education.

Through PRC’s progressive clinical model, students move from observation to supervised practice and eventually take the lead in working with clients as their skills and confidence develop.
