Our Level 2 students are getting hands-on with the theory and principles of pruning!

This course explores when to prune, how to make different types of cuts, and how pruning influences the landscape. Students are also learning how these principles apply to many of the common trees and shrubs found throughout Greater Victoria.

Introduction to Permaculture is a hands-on course exploring the foundations of permaculture design theory and how those principles can be applied. Students will participate in class lectures, field trips, and practical work on the Food Forest site at HCP.

One all 4 Levels are complete, students receive their SkilledTrades BC Level 4 in the Landscape Horticulturist program and can take the Red Seal Exam to receive their inter-provincial Red Seal Qualification.
