Thank you, Gustav, for deepening our understanding of Soft forms within fixed frames: Personal and relational dimensions for empowering participation and agency in climate governance.

Gustav Osberg demonstrated that real climate action hinges not only on policies, but also on human participation, encompassing our values, motivations, relationships, and shared purpose. Drawing on collaborative climate initiatives in Sweden, he showed how participatory governance can empower individuals by offering autonomy, mutual learning and a sense of collective purpose, providing an alternative to approaches that are purely incentive or information driven.
