WE ARE BACK WITH STRIKE NEWS AND TODAY WE ARE ANSWERING WHY WE ARE STRIKING. THIS STRIKE WAS APPROVED BY OUR STUDENTS IN A SPECIAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY.

100 STUDENTS AT 7AM TO CANCEL CLASS AND PROTEST ALL DAY. MORE INFO TO COME SUCH AS SCHEDULE WITH PLANNED ACTIVITIES TO COME SOON AND INFO POST ON BILL 9 AND LAW 14. IF WE DO NOT ATTAIN THE AMOUNT OF STUDENTS CLASS WILL GO ON AS NORMAL.

Attention all students. We have received a petition with over 100 signatures so far, stating:

I, a member of the Vanier College Students Association, sign this petition requesting the VCSA call a Special General Assembly April 22nd at 12:30pm, where a motion to join the Mai 1st social strike, will be moved to stand against bill 9 and law 14, in order to show support towards our communities language and religious freedoms. 

As per our by-laws, we are calling an SGA next Wednesday at the orchard (Space between D and N) to vote on whether we want to join the Social Strike on Friday, May 1st.
