Alpha Phi at Wilfrid Laurier University Alpha Phis are members of a lifelong sisterhood, a women's fraternity.

Founded in 1872 by ten forward thinking women at Syracuse University, Alpha Phi is now one of the oldest and largest women's fraternities in North America. Our keystone is friendship: warm, simple and sincere. In Alpha Phi, there is encouragement, understanding and opportunities to grow. With members all over the world and collegiate and alumnae chapters throughout North America, our sisterhood knows no bounds.

“From the moment I met Bethany we instantly clicked. Our time talking to each other during big little week wasn’t enough as we had endless topics to talk about. We rambled on about our shared interest of clothes, obsession of Taylor Swift, and binging gossip girl. The moment I found out she would be my little I knew she would be more than that and she would be a best friend. Bethany’s bubbly personality and care for others is admiring and makes me a better person. Our memories together are endless from giggling during sleepovers, decorating for bid day, to travelling around Europe. I can’t imagine my life without her in it and I will forever be grateful to aphi for bringing us together 🤍”

“When I met Dimitria while rushing I could tell instantly that we would become close. From the start of my university journey she has constantly been in my corner and has never failed to make my days brighter. Dimitria isn’t only my big, she is the sister I never had, best friend and mentor. From pushing me outside my comfort zone, to all our fun memories together and showing me the ropes of holding exec positions, I couldn’t imagine my life without her. She is truly one of a kind and I hope that everyone comes across a Dimitria in their lifetime.
