Alpha Phi: Wilfrid Laurier University Alpha Phi at Wilfrid Laurier University Alpha Phis are members of a lifelong sisterhood, a women's fraternity.

Founded in 1872 by ten forward thinking women at Syracuse University, Alpha Phi is now one of the oldest and largest women's fraternities in North America. Our keystone is friendship: warm, simple and sincere. In Alpha Phi, there is encouragement, understanding and opportunities to grow. With members all over the world and collegiate and alumnae chapters throughout North America, our sisterhood knows no bounds.

“Coming into recruitment, I honestly wasn’t sure what sorority was meant for me, but right off the bat aphi just felt like a home away from home. I found some of my closest friends in this chapter, and I’m so lucky I get to call them my sisters. They’ve been there for me through the hard moments, celebrated with me through the best ones, and honestly, so many of these girls have become my rock.

That’s really my why. I didn’t just join a sorority and gain friends, I found sisters. I know it sounds cheesy, but it’s true, these are the girls I know will be standing beside me as my future bridesmaids one day.

So thankful to call Alpha Phi home 🤍 AOE!!!”
