ISOW at Laurier

ISOW at Laurier ISOW commits to inspiring lives of leadership and purpose through education.

We strive to remain accountable to the ISOW scholars, and the greater Laurier community. The International Students Overcoming War (ISOW) Scholarship Initiative is a unique student-led humanitarian initiative at Wilfrid Laurier University. We work to promote active student engagement through the study of the human realities of international conflict today as well as to provide scholarships to inte

rnational students affected by conflict. Our vision is to foster genuine intercultural learning and effective global citizenship by bringing together minds from around the world. ISOW will strive to remain accountable to the Laurier community, and this Facebook account will allow us to provide everyone with information about our work.

We are pleased to announce a scholarship for Palestinian women from Gaza!

The ISOW Gaza Scholarship for Palestinian women from Gaza aims to support students whose post-secondary education was disrupted by the outbreak of violence since October 7, 2023. Recognizing the challenges faced by refugees as they rebuild their lives in Canada, this scholarship provides admission and financial support and mentorship and resources to remove barriers to education and empower students to achieve their full potential while studying at Wilfrid Laurier University.

If you meet the eligibility criteria outlined above, PLEASE APPLY BY JANUARY 6TH 2025 USING THE LINK PROVIDED IN OUR BIO.

Please note that this scholarship is designated specifically for individual students and does not extend to family members.

For questions or further information, feel free to email us at [email protected]. We look forward to supporting you on your educational journey!
