The CEMC was happy to support Team Canada at the 2026 European Girls' Olympiad in Informatics (EGOI). Yilin (Elaine) Li, Grace Ye, Xubai (Carol) Zhang and Jessie Zhou competed in EGOI held in Cesenatico, Italy. The team earned three bronze medals (Elaine, Grace and Jessie). Congratulations to the team!

What a week at SPARCS 2026 πŸ’»βœ¨

Earlier this month, 39 students from 7 provinces spent the week exploring cryptography, AI, quantum computing, programming, digital hardware, and more, along with fun social activities and a trip to the Stratford Festival 🎭

SPARCS is a CS enrichment program for girls and students of other gender identities in Grades 9–10. We loved seeing this amazing community learn, connect, and grow together πŸ’œ
