This week, the team presented our Critical Design Review (CDR) to SEDS-Canada, SME’s from the National Research Council of Canada and Canadian Space Agency!

This is a huge milestone in our project, we are extremely proud of the progress we’ve made throughout these past few months.

We highlighted full mechanical, electrical, and software systems, risk assessment, flight procedures, project management, outreach, and procedure of sample analysis post-flight. We were able to receive input on the experiments viability in microgravity environments, addressing technical queries of the full system design.

Here’s some of snippets of our CDR. Hoping our final prototype doesn’t involve any duct tape 😁🤞🏼
