The Laurier Muslim Student Association (MSA) is a student-run organization at Laurier founded in 2003. Time: Posted every Thursday on our page.

We bring students together to practice faith, serve the community, and promote awareness and understanding of Islam on campus. We strive to make the life of a Muslim student convenient, productive, and enjoyable. As an MSA, our goal is to promote a positive image of Islam by bringing together communities through the principles of Islam. Promoting awareness of Islam on Laurier campus

educating about the ideas and concepts of Islam
Providing a social environment and network for Muslim students
Practicing active citizenship within communities to make a difference

Assalamualaikum everyone! The sacred month of Muharram has started today on Tuesday, June 16th marking the start of a new year, SubhanAllah🌙✨.

As we have approached one of the four sacred months, it is even more important that we continue to put forward more effort and allow ourselves to grow in our daily Islamic practices with the help of Allah, Ameen!

Assalamualaikum, everyone! The day of ‘Arafah will be tomorrow on Tuesday, May 26th. Let us seize this opportunity and make the most of its blessings. Seek forgiveness, reflect, and supplicate on the blessed Day of ‘Arafah. Let us also revive and put into practice the teachings of the Prophet (ﷺ) like fasting on this day so we can benefit from the mercy of Allah. May Allah allow us to make the most of this day, Ameen!

As we have approached one of the four sacred months, it is even more important that we continue to put forward more effort and allow ourselves to grow in our daily Islamic practices with the help of Allah, Ameen! Let us also revive and put into practice the teachings of the Prophet (ﷺ) like the fasting of three days every month Insha’Allah.
